If your accommodation is in central Bar, near the promenade or the marina, you may genuinely be within walking distance, but if you've got luggage, it's hot, or you're staying further out toward Šušanj, Sutomore, or anywhere else along the coast, a short taxi ride is the easier call. The trip from the port itself typically falls into the in-city fare tier if your hotel is still within Bar's center, or the suburban tier if you're headed further out.

Whether you've come in by bus, by a ride from elsewhere in the municipality, or you're just starting your day from a central meeting point, the same logic applies.
