Taxi from Dobra Voda to Podgorica Airport

Dobra Voda is one of the smaller, quieter spots in the Bar municipality, tucked along the coast, and it doesn't get nearly as much attention in travel guides as Bar or Sutomore. If you're staying here, though, getting to Podgorica Airport (TGD) works exactly the same way it would from anywhere else in the municipality.

Distance and time

From Dobra Voda, plan on somewhere around 35 to 40 kilometers to the airport near Golubovci, and roughly 40 to 50 minutes of driving. The route runs through Bar and up toward Sutomore before joining the Sozina Tunnel, the road link that makes the whole Podgorica trip as quick as it is, cutting straight through the mountains rather than climbing over them.

Dobra Voda is a quiet hillside and coastal spot, known locally as much for the freshwater spring that gives it its name, "good water," as for its beaches, and it's a low-traffic starting point most of the year, which makes the drive itself an easy, uneventful one.

What it costs

This falls under the standard out-of-town fare: a 1 euro boarding charge, a 5 euro minimum, and 1.10 euros per kilometer during the day. Given the slightly longer starting distance compared to a pickup in Bar or Sutomore, expect the total to run a little higher, though it's still one of the more affordable airport trips in this guide simply because Podgorica is the closest airport option from anywhere in the municipality.

Roughly what to budget. For a trip of around 37 kilometers, the distance charge comes out to roughly 41 euros, plus the 1 euro boarding fee, so a reasonable planning figure is somewhere around €40 to €45.

Booking and timing

This is a fairly quiet, predictable route outside of peak summer weekends, so you generally don't need much advance notice. For an early flight, though, it's still worth locking in your ride the night before through the Greencar.me Taxi app, available on Android and the App Store for iPhone, just so it's confirmed and waiting rather than arranged last minute.
